For my cinematography practical, I mainly focused on experimenting with different camera shots to show variety and help establish the suspense as we added a narrative. I used long shots and extreme long shots to present the space and show everything that was happening on screen. Then I included medium long shots and mid shots so the movements and body language were clearer while still keeping some of the background in. I added a high-angle shot to make the phone the subject and intensify the scene. The closeups and extreme closeups brung attention to specific details. For the POV and OTS shot, I used it to show the anonymous messages being sent, so the audience could see exactly what she was doing from her perspective. The wide shot showed the whole library atmosphere. The range of cinematography techniques help as it shows what each shot adds to the scene.
