I read MM75 and it really helped me understand different media formats, especially magazines. It shows how to structure a magazine properly to it's topic, one example being ensuring to elderly people that ageing is normal. In this case, you would add motivational messages regarding ageing so it’s interesting and eye-catching for readers and the target audience. It also talks about iconography, using artists like Ariana Grande as an example. For instance, her song 7 Rings was mentioned because some of the visuals were seen as “inappropriate" and was further criticised. Although, it probably wasnt the artist's intention it shows how important mise-en-scene is and why it’s necessary to plan the layout and visuals carefully so nothing offends the audience.
